My Approach is based on:
Innovation:
Rethinking standards to integrate high-performance and sustainable materials, optimized designs, and reliable scientific methods.
Advanced Simulation:
Using CAE/CFD tools to anticipate issues, validate concepts, and accelerate development.
Sustainability:
Integrating recyclability criteria, impact on properties, lightweighting, and energy efficiency into every project.
I firmly believe that cross-functional collaboration (technical teams, production, laboratories, clients, etc.) is the key to transforming ideas into concrete and competitive solutions.
Why Work With Me ?
Technical Expertise: Mastery of simulation tools and high-performance materials.
Collaborative Approach: Ability to bring teams together and align solutions with client strategies.
Forward-Thinking Vision: Anticipating trends (electrification, recyclability) for sustainable and competitive products.
Customer-Focused: Listening to clients to solve technical problems, improve products, and boost productivity through new technologies.
Frédéric Bonnin
My 25 years of experience at DuPont de Nemours and Celanese
At DuPont and then Celanese, I contributed to innovative projects across various sectors (automotive, energy, industrial, etc.) as an expert in simulation, design, and material selection.
My responsibilities included:
Global Collaboration:
Worked with technical, laboratory, and commercial teams to identify and develop high-value projects.
Design of Technical Plastic Parts: Replacing metals, functional integration, and optimization for demanding applications (electric motors, batteries, cooling systems, etc.).
SPE Automotive Innovation Award 2024 (Chassis/Hardware category) and Celanese Innovation Award 2024 for customer growth of +$12M over 8 years, and active participation from the beginning in the creation of the company that produces the revolutionary Zen and YOYO strollers.
Advanced Simulation:
Used tools such as Ansys Workbench, Moldflow, and Digimat for mechanical, thermal, CFD, and injection molding analyses
Problem Solving:
Diagnosing and optimizing designs, processes, and material choices for robust and cost-effective solutions.
Materials Expertise: Selection and characterization of materials (mechanical properties, thermal properties, chemical resistance, aging, etc.).
